ATTENTION

Heart of Florida United Way, in collaboration with public utilities such as the Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC-The Reliable One), Duke Energy, the City of Winter Park Utilities, and Lake Apopka Natural Gas District, offers emergency residential utility assistance as part of our commitment to the community’s well-being. Due to high demand, limited applications will be accepted each week and will close once capacity is reached. If your utility provider is not among those mentioned, or if you require additional assistance, you have multiple avenues to explore. Reach out to 211 through phone, email, chat, or text (simply send your zip code to 898-211) and discover alternative community resources that may be available to you. To begin the application process for assistance with the utility companies listed above, please provide the following information. If applications are available, you will receive a separate email with a link and instructions on how to apply for assistance. If you receive a pop-up message stating applications are not available, we have reached our current capacity and you will need to complete the form below at a later time to check availability.

Please note: This form is the first step in determining eligibility and you must complete the application process in its entirety to be considered for assistance.
